    • I don’t have time

    • I’m weak

Sound familiar? Our services are discreet and confidential—only you and your provider need to know. We’re not here to judge; we’re here to listen, provide support, offer problem-solving guidance, and give you a safe place to just vent.

We can’t fix everything, but even a little support can make a big difference. Curious? Let’s talk—no-nonsense answers, zero judgment, whenever you’re ready.

  • Discretion and confidentiality are central to everything we do. When we say it’s important, we mean we place it as a priority in our documentation, record-keeping, location and spaces of service, and in how we conduct ourselves.

There are exceptionally rare legal reasons when we have to breach confidentiality (most often related to imminent danger), but otherwise your business is your business. Please refer to the “Fine Print” page to review all of the details. We will also discuss this during your consultation and at your first visit.

  • Counseling: Clinical, collaborative support with mental health evaluation, symptom reduction, and behavior guidance. Provided by a licensed professional.

Consultation: Short-term, goal-focused guidance without diagnosis or insurance billing.

Private-Pay Advantage: Fees are the same for both—so you get a tailored service that fits your needs, whether you want clinical support or focused guidance.

  • Telehealth for mental health means getting therapy and counseling remotely through secure video calls, phone, or messages. It’s convenient and private, letting people talk to licensed professionals from home or anywhere private. Telehealth keeps the same privacy and quality as in-person care and helps military members, busy workers, and people in remote areas access support. It focuses on caring, understanding, and personalized help for each person.

  • There will be some degree of paper work, review of the “business end” of the services, and a process of getting to know one another. This is done through demographic and basic questions, as well as taking a deeper dive into learning how you view yourself, the world, and your concerns.

She then begins with a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation to understand your background, current concerns, and treatment goals.

After you and Nikki get through some of these basics, you will develop a plan of action, and you will go from there!

Because this is private pay, you and Nikki can truly develop a plan tailored to you, and not the insurance company.

You are also welcome to ask Nikki questions! She wants you to get to know her style and approach, and she welcomes questions you have about what she can bring to this collaboration.

  • Most clients attend 6–12 sessions, but it depends on your goals. Scheduling is flexible—weekly, biweekly, monthly, or as needed. Nikki usually recommends every 7–10 days at first to build rapport and momentum.

  • No. But we can help you find a prescriber, ask us for more details.

  • Not at this time, although Nikki is open to a family or friend joining you in session if needed. This can be discussed more in your consultation, just ask.

  • We are NOT a crisis service. If you experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, CALL 911 OR GO STRAIGHT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM!!

You can reach a mental health professional 24/7 by calling or texting 988. We can provide follow up after you get yourself to safe, immediate care.

Here is some information about what a mental health crisis means and may look like:

A mental health crisis shows up in many ways, often as a sudden strong increase in emotional pain or changes in behavior. Signs include feeling very hopeless, extremely anxious or restless, confused, avoiding people, or struggling with daily tasks. People may talk about self-harm or suicide, act aggressively or unpredictably, or have big mood swings. Physical symptoms like a fast heartbeat, chest pain, or panic attacks can also happen. Spotting these signs early is important to get timely help and support.

  • Not yet, but in the future.

Nikki is open to discussing individual requests (such as for a workplace presentation, training, or class), please reach out to discuss!

  • We will help you find someone that is a better fit and we can make referrals to colleagues as needed, and as appropriate. We understand that “everyone will not click” with us, that’s part of being human, and it’s ok.

Please refer to the “Fine Print” page for all of the specific details realted to how to file complaints should you feel you have been abused by any Return to Baseline, LLC staff.

    *** TEXAS RESDIDENTS ***

Your state has additional requirements and rights to you as a consumer of my services. Please see below for more information and please talk with me if you have any questions or concerns related to this information.

My TX LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license number is 116692.

House Bill 4224 (89th Regular Session), which went into effect on Sept. 1, 2025, requires licensees to, per Section 181.105 of the Health and Safety Code, prominently post on their website and at any facility detailed instructions for a consumer to:

  • Not yet, but we’re working on big things, stay tuned.

  • BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT:

    • 48-hour notice required for cancellations

    • $125 fee for late cancellations or no-shows

    • One-time emergency excusal may be considered

    • 3 missed sessions in 90 days may result in removal from the practice

    And here’s the why:

Why do you require 48 hours’ notice?
Therapy sessions reserve a dedicated block of time that cannot be filled at the last minute. Providing 48 hours’ notice allows us to offer the appointment to another client and maintain the financial stability needed to continue providing care.

What counts as a late cancellation?
Any cancellation made with less than 48 hours’ notice is considered a late cancellation.

What is the fee for a late cancellation or no-show?
Late cancellations and no-shows are charged a $125 fee, which is not billable to insurance.

    What if there’s an emergency?
We understand that genuine emergencies happen. In those situations, a one-time excusal may be considered at the provider’s discretion. Outside of emergencies, the policy is applied consistently.

What happens if I miss multiple appointments?
Three (3) late cancellations or no-shows within a 90-day period may result in discharge from the practice. This helps ensure consistent care and fair access to appointment times for all clients.

Does this policy apply to telehealth sessions?
Yes. Telehealth appointments reserve the same clinical time and are subject to the same attendance policy.
